ABSTRACT
Eccrine porocarcinoma is a rare malignancy of the eccrine sweat gland. It is usually found on the lower extremities, and it has a higher frequency in females in their late sixties and early seventies. It can develop from a common eccrine poroma. We present a 18-year-old male patient, who had a pedunculated tumor on the occipital area of the scalp, measuring 2.0 X 1.8 cm, with 8 months evolution, without local or extracutaneous extension; it was treated with surgical excision without evidence of recurring.
