ABSTRACT

The health field is constantly developing, technological advances are endless, at all levels and in search of a common goal: prevention. Prevention means to identify patients with risk factors for various diseases, early detection of new cases of disease, prevent the complications of the entity and avoid sequels diagnosed when the disease is detected at an advanced stage. The detection of risk factors is the most common way of identifying patients predisposed to a disease, but often are not sufficient to meet this objective, and requires the help of advanced diagnostic methods.
