ABSTRACT
Echinococcosis or hydatidosis is a parasitic disease caused by tapeworm larvae genus
Echinococcus. The lung represents the second most common site of localization. We report here two cases of pulmonary hydatidosis in male patients whose occupation was agriculture and raising of ovine livestock. In both cases, surgical treatment was successfully performed allowing resolution of the disease. The importance of this communication is related to the few number of reports of this disease in our country.
