ABSTRACT
Choriocapillaritis, or white dot syndromes, are infrequent benign clinical entities as in the multiple evanescent white dot syndrome.
Case 1: A 31 year old female with decrease in visual acuity in her right eye, paracentral relative scotoma that spontaneously improved her vision after 4 weeks of follow-up. She had a prior flu-like syndrome one week before the visual symptoms appeared.
Case 2: A 34 year-old male patient reported a decrease in his right eye visual acuity with a 3 day evolution, floaters and also spontaneous remission in a 6 week follow-up period.
Conclusions: Multiple evanescent white dot syndrome is an unusual entity, sometimes very florid in its presentation that is worth to take into account in the differential diagnosis of punctiform retinal lesions.
