ABSTRACT
Von Recklinghausen disease or neurofibromatosis Type I is a group of inheritable autosomal dominant diseases with a wide spectrum of clinical manifestations. We present two cases that describe parturient women having been diagnosed Von Recklinghausen disease. These women were successfully administered epidural and local anesthesia for emergency caesarean, respectively. The babies were healthy, with a good Apgar scoring and without either maternal or neonatal complications.
