ABSTRACT
Neuroblastomas tumors expressing high levels of TrkB and brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) are associated with poor prognosis. Diverse studies indicated that BDNF/TrkB are capable to decrease the chemosensitivity of neuroblastoma to agents of chemotherapy. It is evident that BDNF/TrkB contribute to the chemoresistance of neuroblastomas and that inhibition of PI-3K path could improve action of agents of chemotherapy.
