ABSTRACT

The Ahmed valve implant is a very important tool in difficult glaucoma patients and it is an alternative in patients who do not respond to a common treatment. In the other hand, there are complications related to the implant like choroidal detachment, hiphema, hipotony, encapsulated bleb and tube malposition. When the tube lengh is the cause of enthotelial touch, shortening the tube is the rule to avoid endothelial damage. We want to report a new technique to shortening the tube lengh, in patients with Ahmed valve implant.
