ABSTRACT
The Peutz-Jeghers syndrome is an uncommon autosomic predominant hereditary entity which main characteristics are the mucocutaneous pigmentation, associated to hamartomatosis polyps. In this paper we made a critical review of the item and the relation with cancer of the digestive tract and of extraintestinal locations.
The screening protocol and treatment are analyzed.
