ABSTRACT

We describe the case of a patient with a ventricular septal defect consisting in a perimembranous interventricular communication in whom, subsequently, an aneurysm of the right sinus of Valsalva was diagnosed, which ruptured to the right ventricle. Its surgical correction is described and the related bibliography is reviewed.
