Aneurisma del seno de Valsalva con rotura al ventrículo derecho, relacionado con comunicación interventricular perimembranosa

RESUMEN
El aneurisma del seno de Valsalva es una rara anomalía cardiaca que afecta más al sexo masculino, puede aparecer clínicamente de diversas maneras, aunque generalmente permanece asintomática y se diagnostica como hallazgo incidental en estudios de imagen por otros motivos. Su manifestación clínica más común es la rotura del seno de Valsalva, lo que casi siempre produce un corto circuito significativo de izquierda a derecha que suele progresar a insuficiencia cardiaca. La intervención quirúrgica se indica una vez confirmado el diagnóstico para prevenir futuras complicaciones cardiacas. Se reporta el caso de un paciente con un defecto del septum interventricular consistente en comunicación interventricular perimenbranosa en quien posteriormente se diagnostica un aneurisma del seno de Valsalva derecho, roto hacia el ventrículo derecho, y su corrección quirúrgica.
