Giant Keratoacanthoma: Case Report

Keratoacanthoma is a benign cutaneous tumour that displays rapid growth with a histologic pattern suggestive of a squamous cell carcinoma, sometimes are difficult to distinguish between both tumors. Most often occur on sun-exposed areas. The authors describe a case of a giant keratoacanthoma affecting lumbar-sacral area, developed over 14 years. Multiple treatments have been used and surgical excision. However there was no effective therapy.
