ABSTRACT
A 34 years-old male with malaise and fever up to 39° C with three days of evolution. He has the antecedent of travelling to Veracruz where he remembered being bitten by mosquitoes. Several studies of laboratory and imaging were asked for because of the patient´s age and the acute clinical evolution. The first suspected diagnosis was an infectious etiology. The serologic report for dengue disease was positive. A clinical discussion and a literature review is made.
