ABSTRACT
The therapeutic aphaeresis has been tried for many situations in which a pathogenic antibody or an antigen complex antibody; in the case of Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE), or abnormal cellular elements in the case of cytapheresis. Most of the treatment schemes they consist of daily spare parts of great volumes and by long periods. This intensity of spare parts is not necessary for the effective removal of pathological substances. The efficiency of the TPE not always is predictable although the removal of the injurious component is effective. The effects of the therapeutic cytapheresis are a little more predictable, although they tend to be of short duration unless a simultaneous treatment is provided to them.REFERENCES
