ABSTRACT
Three cases of parapoxvirus human infection are diagnosed, and described in the hands of veterinarian practitioners. Contagious ecthyma virus was probably the causative agent in two of them according clinical history. Characteristic viral particles (type 2 or C) of parapoxvirus were observed in all cases by electron microscopy examination.
