ABSTRACT
Pregnancy dermatoses are a group of disorders with pruritus and skin diseases that occur exclusively during pregnancy that result directly from the state of gestation or the products of conception. There are some conditions well described, in based the characteristic features and seen almost during pregnancy or immediate postpartum period. Well described pregnancy dermatoses are: Pemphigoid gestationis, pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy, intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy and for some authors Pruritic folliculitis of pregnancy. The other are: Prurigo of pregnancy, papular dermatitis of pregnancy, impetigo herpetiformis, Linear IgM dermatosis of pregnancy, Autoimmune progesterone dermatitis of pregnancy. A review of the evidence of the literature is exposition. With emphases in the possible fetal risks associates with it.
