ABSTRACT
Generalized lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune inflammatory disease which is chronic in conjunctive tissues and produces biochemical and structural changes in several organs. The objective of this study is to show the infirmary cares based upon scientific knowledge and a dignified treatment to a person suffering from generalized Lupus erythematosus. The infirmary assessment was performed with regard to fourteen basic necessities defined by Virginia Henderson. It was used the NANDA diagnostic labels, obtaining thirteen infirmary diagnoses, six of risk and seven real diagnoses. It was observed an interrelation among the diagnoses; however, we conclude that the knowledge about the pathogenesis favors the communication of more information about the disease to the patient. With this last point the quality of infirmary care may be enhanced.REFERENCES
