ABSTRACT
The present paper includes 60 patients who were submitted to diagnostic arthroscopy through a 3-year period, from October 1995 to September 1998. No complications were seen in the whole 60 patients of the series. Patients who had diverse lesions of the shoulder were treated by open surgery. Learning curve allowed the surgeons to progresively reduce operating time. Results of diagnostic arthroscopy were often more accurate than those obtained by arthrograms or by contrast-computerized tomography.
