ABSTRACT
Only 20 out of 193 cases of spine fracture, from a whole of 265 patients who were admitted into the spine clinic from September 1991 through November 1992, had stable thoraco-lumbar spine fractures and were treated by a fiber-glass thoraco-lumbar orthosis. As it could be expected rate of good results increased from 70% at 6 months to 100% at 12 months.z|
