Endocarditis: Clinical case and theme review

ABSTRACT
Endocarditis is defined as an infection of the endocardic sufarce of
the heart. It was described in 1885 and was associated with a 100% of
mortality 50 years ago. A clinical case of endocarditis and a review of
the relevant aspects of the disease is made.
