ABSTRACT
Introduction: internal hernias correspond to a very small percentage of cases of intestinal obstruction, with paraduodenal hernias being the most frequent type of this type of condition and among these the right paraduodenal hernia makes up the most infrequent type with an incidence of less than 0.9% in those patients presenting symptoms. Case report: we present a case of a right paraduodenal hernia as a transoperative finding in a patient with no evidence of intestinal obstruction. Conclusion: the diagnosis is often late, which represents high morbimortality in patients who only present pain as the only abdominal symptom.REFERENCES
