ABSTRACT
Asthma, in childhood less than 5 years is an entity with difficult diagnosis, there are a lot of guides that facilitate this work, like symptoms, cough predominate during night and morning, associated with food, that increase with exercise, dyspnea in middle effort. Importantly is take information about atopy familial history, that strengthen asthma diagnosis; more than if the patient had been another allergic disease. Children with wheezing before approach diagnosis, they took a lot of instruments for the diagnosis, but they can help in the treatment. Differential diagnosis and complications of other pathologies are very important specially in the first days of treatment.
