ABSTRACT
In Sustainable Development Goal 4, Education is considered as an integral element of development, encouraging people to change their way of thinking towards sustainability. Political, social and economic approaches influence the development of health and education systems. The adequate link between these elements enhances government efforts to improve professional training and therefore the health of the population. Analyzing the contribution of the social approach in medical education is a fundamental aspect in achieving sustainable development. The study was developed from qualitative research methods and techniques that allowed a critical analysis of the collected information, the analytical-synthetic methods being the theoretical level and the historical-logical and the interview to experts. It was concluded that there is a deeply social focus in educational training, the existing human and scientific-technical capacities together with the development of the health system constitute a strength, which has repercussions on the health of the population.REFERENCES
