ABSTRACT
The new wave of medical pedagogy has shifted its focus from developing clinical skills
to over-reliance on technologies, impairing the clinical ability of new physicians. The
correct identification, adequate application and exhaustive disclosure of clinical signs
contributes to economic and time savings, as the case of the wide variety in aortic
insufficiency. However, the new approach of the educational system of medicine has
relegated clinical skills to the background and by virtue of the above, new strategies
in medical pedagogy have been proposed to give priority once again to the perfection
of clinical skills of doctors in training.
