ABSTRACT
Introduction: snapping triceps syndrome (STS) are the symptoms or signs caused by dislocation of the vastus medialis of the triceps and/or subluxation of the ulnar nerve at the elbow. Misdiagnosed and cause of failed transpositions. Clinical case: a 17-year-old female patient was consulted for pain in the right elbow. Increases in sports. Medial pain, normal motion. Snap 1 and 2 (+), tinel (+) ulnar. Ultrasound: ulnar nerve subluxation in 80° flexion. They were treated surgically with the modified spinner technique. Conclusion: the aim is for patients to return to their activities without pain or limitation. Medial pain should not be limited to medial epicondylitis, ulnar neuritis, or instability. STS should be considered before primary surgery.REFERENCES
