ABSTRACT

Objective: A group of subjects was studied to determine the morphology of the masseteric reflexigram (RFXG). Routine measurements described elsewhere, and graphs were obtained (area relationship right and left sides, incomplete areas left and right, and symmetry) the relationship with different oral conditions (age, missing teeth, fillings, crowns, discrepancies between centric relation and centric occlusion, overbite, and overjet). Results: 89.13% were between 15-24 years, 67.39% females. The results of all the studied variables were applied the Sesgo and Curtosis tests without finding a normal curve distribution; it was decided to use the non parametric test of Spearman and bi-serial point, to evaluate the relationship between the oral variables and the reflexigram measurements. Results: Apparently does not exists any relationship between the different oral settings studied and the RFXG morphology, at least for the studied group.
