Providing Humanized Care in Neonatal Intensive Care Units.

ABSTRACT
Humanized Care and Family-Centered Care consider familial, physical, social and
spiritual factors for the holistic care of neonates and their families. This article’s objective
is reviewing the developments and state-of-the-art of Humanized Care and Family
Centered Care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, following the 7 lines of work for the
Humanization of Care, to achieve benefits in all the considered factors.
