Multiple case study from plastic expression to improve behavior in early ages

ABSTRACT
Background: behavioral disorders early ages constitute a complex problem to be solved by educators, psychiatrists, psychologists and sociologists, that´s why they require specific and creative studies to mitigate them.Objective: to demonstrate, from a multiple case study carried out through artistic expression workshops, the positive transformations that emerged in children diagnosed with behavior disorders.
Methods: a descriptive study based on qualitative research was carried out at the Santa Clara Center for children, Villa Clara, in 2019, accompanied by theoretical and empirical methods to demonstrate the scientific nature of the research, and others that allowed the collection of contributing data in the study of multiple cases.
Results: as the actions conceived for the realization of the plastic expression workshop were applied, based on the fundamentals in drawing, paiting and modeling using potter’s, clay, children were stimulated and values of cooperation, expressive possibilities, cognitive and motivational, language development were awakened in them in correspondence with their age, among other successes.
Conclusions: the participation of these children with behavior disorders in the aforementioned workshop showed that with the application of this technique and the multiple case study method to evaluate evolutionary advances and setbacks, positive transformations can be achieved in their modes of action, since This manifestation allows expressive and individualized freedom, based on its participatory, experiential, educational-formative character; and as occupational therapy in leisure time.
