ABSTRACT
During the last decades there has been an increase in syphilis cases, already known as the great simulator, a situation that also occurs with dermatological manifestations of this disease. Syphilitic alopecia (SA) is a rare manifestation of syphilitic secondary, characterized by a non-scarring alopecia, with a "moth-eaten" appearance. Trichoscopy shows yellow and black dots, conical or broken hairs and hypochromia.
