ABSTRACT
Keloid scars are fibroproliferative disorders derived from an alteration
in the healing process. To date, there are no international
guidelines for their management, reason why sometimes they
become a therapeutic challenge. We review the recent literature
including the noninvasive, injectable, and surgical treatments available,
with the aim of providing a quick treatment guideline. We
present a flowchart displaying keloid scar management practiced
by the authors.
