ABSTRACT
Pityriasis versicolor is a superficial fungal infection of the skin,
it is caused by
Malassezia spp., consisting of well demarcated,
finely scaling, plaques, the usual localization is the trunk, however,
atypical areas have been reported, including the face,
scalp, arms, legs, intertriginous areas, genitalia, areolas, palms,
and soles. A 52-year-old female is reported with inguinal and
pubic affection.
