ABSTRACT
The cutaneous manifestations of COVID-19 are not considered frequent and, rarely described. We present the case of a 44-year-old male, with no significant medical history, who was hospitalized for severe pneumonia secondary to SARS-COV-2 infection. On the 17th day of evolution of his respiratory symptoms, he started with acute disseminated dermatosis on the thorax and extremities, with erythema multiforme confirmed by skin biopsy. After receiving treatment with systemic and topical steroids, significant improvement was noticed. There is still much to study regarding COVID-19, but knowing how to recognize the extrapulmonary clinical alterations of this entity, can help to detect it properly and thus, provide medical early management.REFERENCES
