ABSTRACT

Toxoplasmosis designs the disease caused by Toxoplasma gondii, it can be the primary asymptomatic disease, chronic or latent. In immunocompromised individuals is a severe disease that can be a risk for death. We describe two cases of toxoplasmosis in children, one in a patient with leukemia and another in a child with malnutrition. Post mortem studies showed Toxoplasma gondii parasites in brain, lungs and myocardial muscle.
