ABSTRACT
Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) is an heterogenic group of hereditary diseases characterized by inhability of the phagocitic cells to kills microorganisms. That produces granulomas in different organs, the more affected organs are limphatic nodes, skin, lungs, liver and digestive system. Treatment with gamma interferon produces good results.
In this article we present a case of a three years old child with sex-linked CGD. After diagnosis and treatment. Genetic consel was also done.
