ABSTRACT
In this article we present some concepts expressed at the lecture on Risk Stratification in Coronary Artery Diesease, presented during the course offered by the National Institute of Cardiology “Ignacio Chávez” in October 5-7, 2000, under the name of Cardiology 2000. This paper deals mainly with the importance of coronary risk factors and how to evaluate risks in patients with stable or unstable angina and in myocardial infarction.
