RESUMEN

En este artículo se revisan los conceptos presentados en la conferencia sobre estratificación de riesgo en la enfermedad coronaria del curso “Cardiología 2000”, en el Instituto Nacional de Cardiología “Ignacio Chávez”, del 5 al 7 de octubre del año 2000. El escrito se refiere fundamentalmente a la importancia de los factores de riesgo coronario y a como estratificar riesgo en la angina estable, inestable y en el infarto del miocardio.
