ABSTRACT
A 42-year-old female patient with an unremarkable medical history, came to the Internal Medicine Service of the emergency department from the Clinical Surgical Hospital of Holguín, Cuba, on October 8, 2018, suffering from severe headache, that became worse since a few days before, but still bearable, accompanied by mild intermmitent retro orbital pain. There was no loss of consciousness on direct questionning. A physical examination was performed, and a computerized axial tomography was ordered. It revealed the presence of subarachnoid hemorrhage and suggested an intracranial aneurysm. It was decided to perform then a cranial angiotomography. A pharmacological treatment was indicated and, at the end, the patient was clinically and radiologically reevaluated, showing a satisfactory clinical course.REFERENCES
