ABSTRACT
The breast tumors in children are uncommon and often benign which represent less than 1% of all breast cancer in pediatrics, 75% of all lesions are reported as fibroadenomas which are benign lesions. The evaluation should focus in a correct clinical history, physical examination and supported with imaging studies such as ultrasound, which represent the first lines study for the evaluation of breast masses in pediatric age, because this is a non radiation test; however, the diagnosis represent a challenge for pediatricians. Timely diagnosis for this pathologies will have an important prognosis in these patients. The objective of the surgical treatment is to achieve a complete resection of the tumors while preserving a normal breast tissue and get anatomopathological diagnosis in case of need coadyuvant treatment.REFERENCES
