ABSTRACT

Introduction. Non identified malnutrition is one of the most intrahospitalary common problems in the world. Its results perturbing at the same fact had abided without small changes in the last 30 years, still when in the same period has been development many keeping up for life techniques, inside of the nutrition therapy gain, in wich play an important rol nursing care, but, ¿do the nurse realise the necessary actions for the early detection of those alterations? For answering this question we realised an evaluative, retrospective study in 100 clinic histories belong to patients joined in Medical Surgical Research Center for checking out if they had realised the malnutrition status observations of those patient through the enforcement of nursing attention process. The results show that only 28 of the scrutinise clinic histories obtained good qualification therefore it is reasoned that de nursing action are not include information capture for early detection of malnutrition alterations in hospitalized patients and medical team who work in that place neither get a high specialization level about this subject that lets them provide an appropriate sway about the nursing people.
