ABSTRACT
Only understanding today’s social and moral crisis is how we can overcome the despair of modern man and try to build
a new society. Violence against pregnant women carries various dangers that increase maternal and child morbidity and
mortality, and violate the right to be born healthy. In this context, we present a clinical case of 29 weeks of gestation,
adequate weight at gestational age, drug addicted mother, respiratory distress secondary to hyaline membrane disease,
early neonatal sepsis, puncture wound in the sacrococcygeal region. Fetal abuse in pregnant women has received little
attention in clinical practice. The spectrum concept of fetal abuse involves, physical aggression, lack of protection to the
fetus from chemical assault by drugs. Extends its reach to the maternal-paternal-fetal triad and the socio-economic-cultural
triad. That violate the right to be born healthy.
