ABSTRACT
Multiorganic failure subsequent to extracorporeous circulation is a significant predictor of death and has as causes systemic inflammatory condition, infection, and organic hipoperfusion. Inflammatory condition is closely related to the production of cytokines which can be counteracted with volatile anesthesics opioids and with adenylic-derived drugs.
