ABSTRACT
Introduction: the theoretical model is an ideal intermediate system, which logically represents the characteristics of the object of study, with its necessary and essential relationships. Objective: to design a Theoretical Model of Training in Directive Management for decision making in Family Health Centers and Primary Health Care in Chile. Development: for the structuring of the model, the concepts of directive management in health and training in directive management in health are defined, seen as fundamental contributions to public health actions, Primary Health Care, health technologies and the science of medical education. The research made it possible to support the theoretical model of training in health management from the conception of training models with an educational focus to provide an outlet for postgraduate profiles. The model rescues from its foundation the valuation of humanism in the context of professional overcoming and postgraduate training, for the growth and professional development, with substantive contributions to the directive management of the Family Health Centers, the Primary Health Care and the Public Health of the country, from an integral stamp based on the foundations and principles of the Science of Medical Education. Conclusions: this work deals with the conception of a Theoretical Model in Health Management, with emphasis on Family Health Centers and Primary Health Care in Chile.REFERENCES
