ABSTRACT

Liver transplantation with living donors is becoming increasingly important in western countries, thanks to the successful development of surgical techniques on the Asian continent, mainly South Korea. The surgical techniques currently used allow to take advantage of the partial grafts in a more efficient way with better results, in both donor and recipient, with reduction of liver transplant waiting lists.
