Abordaje laparoscópico en el diagnóstico y tratamiento de complicaciones en cirugía abdominal mayor

RESUMEN
Introducción: El abordaje laparoscópico ofrece ventajas sobre la vía abierta en el tratamiento de complicaciones en cirugía abdominal. Nuestro objetivo es describir la experiencia en la Clínica Quirúrgica 2 del Hospital Maciel.
Material y métodos: Estudio retrospectivo y descriptivo que incluye pacientes reintervenidos por vía laparoscópica independientemente del abordaje inicial, entre 2017-2019. Se determinaron variables como causa de reintervención, tiempo operatorio, hallazgos, conversión y procedimiento definitivo, entre otras.
Resultados: Se incluyeron 18 pacientes. La causa más frecuente fue la sospecha de falla de sutura colorrectal. Trece reintervenciones fueron precoces (antes del séptimo día) y en cinco casos debió convertirse a cirugía abierta.
Conclusiones: La vía de abordaje laparoscópica en el diagnóstico y tratamiento de complicaciones en cirugía abdominal es factible.
