Enfermedad renal poliquística en un escolar. Importancia de su diagnóstico temprano

RESUMEN
Se reporta el caso de un escolar con enfermedad renal poliquística de carácter autonómico recesivo. Se resaltan sus características clínicas e imagenológicas y la afectación irreversible de la función renal y hepática en estos pacientes y las pautas de manejo temprano para lograr la sobrevida y la eventual solución de este problema mediante un doble trasplante: renal y hepático.
