Algoritmos para la realización comprehensiva de la terapia pulpar indirecta en molares primarios

RESUMEN
La terapia pulpar indirecta (TPI) y la pulpotomía (POT) constituyen en la actualidad los procedimientos más aceptados para realizar
terapia pulpar vital (TPV) en molares primarios. La TPI ha ganado más aceptación recientemente ya que permite preservar la pulpa
intacta con toda su capacidad reparativa sin necesidad de amputarla. El problema principal al que nos enfrentamos al realizar TPI es
el diagnóstico del estado pulpar. En el presente trabajo se desarrollan algoritmos que puedan guiar paso a paso al clínico para realizar
una correcta TPV tomando en cuenta factores como el diente afectado, localización, profundidad y actividad de la lesión cariosa.
