Alopecias cicatrizales primarias, actualizaciones en diagnóstico y tratamiento

RESUMEN
Las alopecias cicatriciales (AC) constituyen un grupo de trastornos
que dan lugar a una pérdida permanente de cabello que
resulta de la sustitución de los folículos pilosos por tejido fibroso
o colágeno hialinizado. Se subdividen en primarias, en las
cuales el folículo piloso es el centro principal de un proceso
inflamatorio; y secundarias, cuando se ve afectado de manera
indirecta como consecuencia de traumatismos, enfermedades
infecciosas, enfermedades infiltrativas, daño térmico o radiación.
En este artículo abordaremos las AC primarias.
