Tratamiento quirúrgico del cáncer de páncreas

RESUMEN
El cáncer de páncreas es una de las neoplasias malignas más agresivas y la cuarta causa de mortalidad en los EUA. Afortunadamente, en México es poco frecuente. Es una de las neoplasias con mayor grado de mortalidad, desde que a pesar de los tratamientos actuales, la mayoría de los pacientes mueren a causa de esta enfermedad. Actualmente, la tomografía computada convencional y/o helicoidal, colangiografía endoscópica y el ultrasonido endoscópico ofrecen una mejor opción para el diagnóstico y conocimiento del estadio clínico.
