Injerto óseo alveolar y su importancia en los pacientes con labio y paladar hendido

RESUMEN
La fisura alveolar es una anomalía congénita común en los pacientes con labio y paladar hendido, se presenta en aproximadamente 75% de los pacientes, siendo el injerto óseo alveolar el tratamiento de elección. El tratamiento adecuado de dichos pacientes proporciona múltiples beneficios, tanto funcionales como estéticos. Para tratar de forma eficaz a estos pacientes es necesario contar con un equipo multidisciplinario. En este artículo se abordan todos los aspectos para una adecuada comprensión de la patología y su tratamiento
