Meningioma del hueso temporal que se presentó clínicamente como otitis media crónica

RESUMEN
Los meningiomas primarios del oído y del hueso temporal son tumores raros y con frecuencia no reconocidos y mal diagnosticados lo que resulta en manejo clínico inapropiado. Existen escasos reportes de estudios clinicopatológicos de meningiomas en este sitio anatómico. Reportamos el caso de un paciente del sexo masculino de 46 años de edad con cuadro clínico de otitis media serosa de larga evolución con pobre respuesta a tratamiento médico, que presentó evento de crisis convulsiva, en los estudios de imagen se encontró la presencia de un meningioma del hueso temporal como causa de la sintomatología.
