RESUMEN
La importancia del estado de salud de los médicos, ha sido por mucho tiempo menospreciada u olvidada, sin embargo, se ha demostrado que tiene una especial significancia, dado que afecta notoriamente a la calidad de la atención que se ofrece a los pacientes en los sistemas de salud. En este trabajo se discuten y analizan las posibles causas que deterioran el estado de bienestar de los médicos y sus posibles efectos.
